Arkville Head Start Lead Teacher/Center Director

The Arkville Head Start Center is looking for a Center Director/Lead Teacher.

Plan and conduct an appropriate classroom utilizing the abilities of the staff, parents and volunteers to the fullest extent. The program must be in keeping with the performance standards, early childhood practices and the needs of the individual child as well as the group.

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and 2 years experience teaching young children.

NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed.

40 hours per week.

Carpenter (Two Positions Available)

Our Weatherization Department is seeking TWO full time Carpenters to join the team!

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Collect materials needed for scheduled job as directed by Crew Leader;
  • Perform tasks such as weather stripping, basis repairs and vent installation;
  • Install cellulose and fiberglass insulation;
  • Replace windows and doors as directed
