Margaretville Senior Dining Center Aide

Delaware Opportunities Senior Dining Program, Inc. is seeking a Dining Center Aide for our Margaretville location. Pay range to start at $16.29 per hour, 20 hours per week. Dining Center Aide will assist in the total operation of the dining center, including daily food preparation and clean-up, meal delivery, and client transportation. Candidate must have a high school diploma and/or 1-2 years’ experience in quantity food service, a valid NYS driver’s license and the ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Victims Advocate/Counselor

Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Victims Counselor/Advocate.

Pay range to start at $22.93 per hour, 35 hours per week.

Advocates provide trauma informed services to victims of crime, domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse including medical and legal advocacy, accompaniment, and information and referrals to needed services.

Experience and willingness to provide outreach education and public speaking desired. and integrity and ability to work independently.

Walton Head Start Classroom Aide

Walton Head Start Teacher Assistant

The Walton Head Start Center is looking for a Teacher Assistant. Minimum of Child Development Associate or Associate’s degree in early childhood or ability to obtain a CDA within 2 years, and one-year experience working with preschool children. NYS driver’s license required. 40 hours per week. Salary range $17.80-19.15 per hour, based on credentials.

WIC Nutritionist

Delaware Opportunities is seeking a full-time WIC Nutritionist for our Hamden location. Pay range $24.87-29.65 per hour, 35 hours per week. Responsibilities include developing, implementing and evaluating the nutrition education component of the WIC Program. Assess the nutritional need of WIC recipients and provide nutritional care appropriate to recipients’ physical, medical and environmental needs and conditions. Act as competent professional and provide high-risk counseling.

Youth Engagement Specialist

Seeking an energetic, self-starter to provide in-home visitation to youth, educating and modeling in areas such as social skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, and more.

Recreational activities and outings are essential to this position.

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, education, or related field, and/or four years of experience in working with children or adolescents.

 FT Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.

 Salary range $22.93-27.35 per hour.
