After School Coordinator

Looking for a dynamic individual to oversee the Advantage After School program based at the Sidney Central School District. Associates degree in child development, elementary education or other education-related field, Bachelors preferred. Must have two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 and one year supervisory responsibility in a child care program or related field of work. NYS driver’s license. 35 hours per week, 10 month position. Hours will vary based on program need but will always include 2:30-5:30 pm. Salary $20.35 per hour.

Casework Assistant

High school diploma and/or two years’ experience in human services. NYS driver’s license. To provide clerical and program support to the family and children's services unit of the Delaware County Department of Social Services. Candidate to provide after care and home visiting to those in the homeless shelter. Staff will also provide support and assistance finding and sustaining housing for those referred. Good interpersonal, organizational and computer skills required. 35 hours per week. Salary range $16.45 - $19.62 per hour.

Davenport Head Start Bus Driver

CDL B with P and S endorsements license required, 19A certification a plus. Safe driving record with no moving violations within the past 18 months.  Must be at least 21 years of age. To transport children to and from Head Start center. 35 hours per week. Salary range $13.17-15.70 per hour. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in early childhood and 2 years’ experience teaching young children. NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed. 40 hours per week. High school diploma and/or four years’ experience in residential construction with supervisory experience. NYS driver’s license required. Knowledge of home weatherization, carpentry and heating system repair. Monday through Thursday, 40 hours per week; fringe benefits. Salary range $19.59 - $23.38 per hour. Family Residence Prevention Services Coordinator

Live-in housing in Hamden, NY; all related expenses provided to suitable candidate and immediate family members. Candidate to provide a nurturing, supportive, safe home for children in foster care. Must be able to address emotional and behavioral concerns within the home. Candidate responsible for coordinating daily living house needs as well as supervising support staff working in the home. Bachelor’s degree and/or four years’ experience working with children and adolescents. Master’s degree preferred, but not required. NYS driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Family Residence Support Worker

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, education, or related field and/or four years’ experience working with children or adolescents. Provide general support to family resident parent and children in foster care. Job duties include recreation transportation and other related activities to assist children placed in foster care at the agency operated foster home. Overnight shift possible. Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed. Salary range $18.12 - $21.60 per hour. 35 hours per week.
