Arkville Head Start Classroom Aide/Custodian

Looking for rewarding work that makes a difference in a child and family’s life? Come work for Head Start! This position will assist staff with daily activities in Head Start classroom. Work side by side with classroom Teacher, Teacher Assistant and other staff in high energy classroom with 3, 4 and 5 year olds. High school diploma or GED required. This is a 40 hour per week position. 30 hours as Classroom Aide and 10 hours doing custodial work, cleaning the center. $14.98 per hour. Accepting applications until the position has been filled.

Davenport Head Start Teacher Assistant

The Davenport Head Start Center is looking for a Teacher Assistant. Minimum of Child Development Associate or Associate’s degree in early childhood or ability to obtain a CDA within 2 years, and one-year experience working with preschool children. NYS driver’s license required. 40 hours per week. Salary range $16.46-20.62 per hour, based on credentials.

Seeking a hard-working, caring, and trustworthy individual for our Head Start Center located in Arkville, NY. Required to have a Family Development Credential or Associate’s degree in psychology, sociology, or human services, and one year’s experience working with low-income families and familiarity with public benefit programs. Candidate must have a valid NYS Driver License. Family Service Worker will serve as a liaison between the Head Start Center and participating families, assisting families to gain access to needed services and achieve self-sufficiency.

Fishs Eddy Head Start Family Service Worker

The Fishs Eddy Head Start Center is looking for a Family Service Worker. Hancock Senior Dining Center Manager-Temporary

High school diploma and/or two years’ experience in quantity food preparation with one year’s supervisory experience. Ability to relate well to senior citizens. 25 hours per week. Salary range $16.46- $19.65 per hour. Eligible benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Paid time off, Holidays, and Retirement. Housing Quality Specialist

The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable and ready to work in a fast pace environment. Maintain accurate and complete files and records for all current program participants.

Minimum of high school diploma with some post-secondary education.
Family Development Credential a plus.

To provide unit inspection for the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program. Data entry skills, and ability to read, interpret and follow directions required. Clean, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed.
