SSCBT or Family Development Credential or Associate’s degree in psychology, sociology, or human services, and one year’s experience working with low-income families and familiarity with public benefit programs.   NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed. 37.5 hours per week. Carpenter

 

High school diploma or GED and/or 1year’s experience in residential construction with knowledge of terms and materials. Knowledge of weatherization techniques preferred. Community Development Specialist

Associate’s degree in construction or related field and four years’ construction management experience and/or six years’ progressive responsibility in construction related field. NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement. To prepare written specifications/work write-ups and accurate estimates for various Housing Rehabilitation programs. Responsible for overseeing contract work to assure that all work meets material and work specifications and is completed in a timely fashion consistent with requirements of the program.

Developmental Disabilities Aides

Seeking energetic, caring, self-starters to support developmentally disabled individuals in the Stamford, Davenport, Sidney, and Walton areas. Create your own flexible schedule based on individual needs, with no weekends or overnights required.  All positions allow for either the option of a per diem or a full time schedule (20+ hours per week) to best suit your availability. High school diploma or GED required. Must have clean NYS driver’s license with no moving violations within last two years. Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed. $12.50 per hour.

Family Residence Prevention Services Coordinator:

Seeking energetic, caring, compassionate individual to provide a nurturing, supportive, safe home for children in foster care. Housing and all related expenses provided to suitable candidate and immediate family members. Candidate responsible for coordinating daily living house needs as well as supervising support staff working in the home. Bachelor’s degree and/or four years’ experience working with children and adolescents. Master’s degree preferred, but not required. NYS driver’s license and personal vehicle required. Salary range $51,391 - $61,283 annually.

Family Residence Support Worker

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, education, or related field and/or four years’ experience working with children or adolescents. Provide general support to family resident parent and children in foster care. Job duties include recreation transportation and other related activities to assist children placed in foster care at the agency operated foster home. Overnight shift possible. Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed. Salary range $18.48- $22.03 per hour. 35 hours per week. The application review process will be ongoing until the position has been filled.
