Delaware Opportunities administers several types of home repair grants that can assist with the costs of repairs and rehabilitation to a single family, owner-occupied home in Delaware County. These repairs can address code violations, safety issues, accessibility issues, disaster mitigation, and rehabilitation to the major systems of the house (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure long term viability.  The funding varies but can come from the NYS Office of Community Renewal, or the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation.  Depending on the program there may be a waiting list.  Contact our office for details regarding funding availability and program guidelines.
