Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to fill the Family Development Specialist position on our Community Services team! The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, work well with a team and independently, and possess the ability to assist and advocate for clients in need in a non-judgmental way. This position assists low-to-middle income families in improving the quality of their lives through family development case management. You will help identify structural problems/barriers to clients achieving goals, and work with them to develop strategies for institutional/structural change.

 Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology, or related field;
• and/or 4 years' experience in counseling, community organization or working with low-income families

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
• 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday
• Starting pay: $23.39 per hour
