Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Weatherization Director and Building Maintenance Supervisor. Exempt position, range of $59,981-$75,106, 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, and trustworthy. Responsibilities include administering state/federal funded Weatherization program, managing DSS HEAP Emergency contract, Empower, and other outside construction services and supervising associated staff as well as oversight of building maintenance and assigned staff.  Works closely with the Executive Director, other project coordinators/directors, Weatherization staff and state program contacts.  Provides purchase orders for necessary materials, schedules and issue work orders, oversees materials inventory tracking, works with staff to facilitate pre and post inspections, as well as estimates for jobs.  Assists in the development of new energy and/or construction related programs for the agency/county.  Assure compliance with all applicable guidelines, rules, regulations, and procedures provided by funding sources.  Work with the Fiscal Officer/Executive Director in the development of program budgets, monitor expenses versus budget and devise corrective action plans as required.  Skills required are, ability to read and interpret documents such as applications, forms, contracts; ability to prepare written specifications/work write-ups and accurate estimates, ability to read, understand and comply with local, State and Federal building codes and regulations.  Candidate must have a minimum of an associate's degree in construction or related trades and four years construction management experience; and/or six years progressive responsibility in construction and energy related fields.  If you feel you meet our requirements please send in an application and your resume to Shelly Bartow at sbartow@delop.org.
