Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time/30 hour/week Driver based out of our Hamden location. The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, and trustworthy. Responsibilities include picking up and delivering passengers to and from assigned destinations within and outside of Delaware County; Follow all safe driving rules and obey traffic laws; Ensure that assigned vehicle is maintained in clean and orderly condition; Coordinate with Secretary/Dispatcher to ensure that assigned vehicle receives required maintenance and repairs; Complete and submit required paperwork in a timely manner; Perform all other associated duties as required or directed and have integrity and the ability to work independently. Some evenings and weekends may be required, depending on scheduling. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and 3 years of clean driving record. New York State driver’s license; willingness to obtain a Class E drivers license upon hire at the expense of the hiring agency. Ability to pass a background check and a biennial physical.
