Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Family Development Specialist for an anticipated opening to start March 1st. Pay range $21.20-26.55 per hour, 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, and trustworthy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  case management;  conducting interviews with clients and referring to appropriate services; helping families establish measurable goals with individuals and families; record necessary information for reports and other required documents; meet with clients regularly to monitor progress toward goals; maintain case files and documentation; coordinate case conferences involving other staff and service providers with common clients; meet regularly with CSBG staff and supervisors to share information; assist in data entry system and client intakes; promote family development approach to case management agencywide; and publicize family development services to community; and participate in outreach events and services. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, or related field and/or four years experiences in counseling, community organizing or working with low-income families.
