Independent Living Skills Counselor:

Seeking an energetic, dynamic, self-starter to teach independent living skills to at-risk youth in foster care.

Job duties include home and school visits with at-risk youth, possible transportation, forming goal plans with youth, teaching independent living skills, planning monthly group activities, and other related activities. There is a definite need for flexibility as some of the home visits may fall outside of these hours of 8am-4pm.

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, education or related field service and/or 4 years of working with children or adolescents.

Salary range $22.93-27.35 an hour.
