To our valued clients and community partners,
The continued impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) within our region reminds us of our collective responsibility to our families, colleagues, neighbors and all community members. As an organization dedicated to the well-being of our community, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and looking at steps within our organization and others to minimize the impact of an outbreak.
We need your assistance in helping to prevent the spread as well. Our priority is protecting the health of our staff as well as all the individuals we serve through our various programs. Prior to coming in for an appointment or participating in any type of home visit or home-based services we ask that you consider the following questions:
1. Within the last 14 days have you traveled to another country?
2. Have you had contact with any person with a known Coronavirus infection or a possible infection?
3. Do you have any symptoms of a respiratory infection?
4. Are you or anyone in your home in active quarantine status?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please call us prior to coming in for your appointment or having us come into your house. If you are in need of emergency services, please still call and we will do our best to strategize how best to assist you. We will do the same. Any staff who answers yes to these questions will be asked to stay home or will be asked to reschedule your home visit.
