Associate’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, child development or related field, or home base CDA; and/or two years’ experience with preschool children and willingness to obtain home base CDA within one year.  Ability to interact well with preschool children and their parents, knowledge of child development and available services.  Plan home visits, assess and plan for individual needs of the family, attend meetings, and act as a liaison and family advocate between community and Head Start when necessary.  NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required.  37.5 hours per week.  Salary range $13.92 - $16.59 per hour.  Applications accepted through December 7, 2018 at Delaware Opportunities Inc., 35430 State Highway 10, Hamden, NY 13782   EOE.
